Our office supports current initial teacher education students to clarify, evaluate and attain their goals.
Applicants and current first-year Bachelor of Education students
Applicants and current first-year Bachelor of Education students are encouraged to work with a general academic advisor in the Advising Centre to complete one of the following:
- Bachelor of Education Self-Assessment Form
- Bachelor of Education - Post Baccalaureate Self-Assessment Form
Bachelor of Education program advisors
Current Bachelor of Education Post Baccalaureate students and year two to five Bachelor of Education students should consult with Bachelor of Education program advisors. Advisors can:
- answer your questions regarding program pre-requisites, admission, application, registration, and progression.
- provide information about institutional policies, procedures, resources and programs.
- provide services to current Initial Teacher Education students throughout the year.
- assist with course conflicts, the appeal process, education program policies and graduation requirements.

Bachelor of Education program advising appointments
- Scheduled online through the Faculty of Education appointment calendar in the Experience Hub
- Attach your completed self-assessment form during the booking process, if appropriate
- Duration: 20 minutes
- Format: In person, by phone or via Teams—whichever is most convenient for you
